Crimson Tide 11U Capture NCS Fall Brawl Championship with 10–7 Victory Over Wolfpack 11U

The Golden Spikes Crimson Tide 11U battled their way to the top this past weekend, capturing the NCS Fall Brawl Tournament Championship with a hard-fought 10–7 win over Wolfpack 11U.

Golden Spikes jumped on the board early in the first inning. Willie R. doubled to left field, followed by a single from Luke B. A passed ball brought in a run, and Caden C. and Charlie W. each delivered RBI singles to push the Tide in front 4–0.

The momentum shifted in the third when Wolfpack answered back, plating six runs on three hits to take a 7–5 lead. Sergio C. delivered the biggest blow of the inning with a two-run double.

The Crimson Tide refused to back down. In the bottom of the third, Luke B. ripped a double down the line, Hudson J. and Caden C. added singles, and Kyle T. crushed a double to right. By the time the dust settled, four runs had scored and Golden Spikes had reclaimed the lead 9–7.

From there, the bullpen took control. Starter Colin F. battled through two and two-thirds innings, and then Caden C. and Kyle T. came in to toss scoreless relief and secure the victory. The defense backed them up with two timely double plays, and the offense kept the pressure on with eight stolen bases, led by Hudson J. and Hunter F.

Golden Spikes finished the day with 12 hits. Caden C., Kevin K., and Luke B. each collected two hits apiece, with Caden and Luke driving in multiple runs. Every player found a way to contribute in what was truly a full team effort.

With the championship win, the Crimson Tide 11U showed once again why Golden Spikes is one of the top travel baseball programs in the Sacramento region.
