Kea Vierra brings a strong local background and genuine passion to his role at Golden Spikes Baseball. A standout right-handed pitcher at Sierra College in Rocklin, Kea earned early recognition in Northern California baseball. During the 2012–13 season, he was named NorCal Pitcher of the Week by the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association—a nod to his skill, focus, and work ethic on the mound.
While at Sierra, Kea was an important part of the pitching staff, contributing consistently over the season and displaying the poise young pitchers look up to . Following his college career, he returned to the Sacramento area and transitioned into coaching—ready to share his experience with the next generation of baseball talent.
At Golden Spikes, Kea works closely with tournament teams, offering guidance on mechanics, game strategy, and competitive confidence. Known for his clear communication and relatable teaching style, he connects easily with players, helping them understand pitching essentials—from grip and release to pacing and mental readiness.
Coaching isn’t just about repeating drills for Kea—it’s about creating an environment where players feel supported and empowered to learn and grow. By combining his playing background with caring mentorship, he helps build both skill and character in young athletes.
